Bridges Services

Welcome to Bridges! Bridges is not a single organization…it is a community effort to assist those facing a temporary emergency situation. Through programs and resources of faith-based organizations, public and private not-for profit agencies, it is our goal to assist area residents experiencing temporary emergency situation build bridges toward greater self-sufficiency.

During your interview with a Bridges representative, you will be directed toward various community resources to help in alleviating your temporary emergency and help you build the bridge toward self-sufficiency. The Bridges representative will also help to identify limited term financial support available through various faith-based organizations and community agencies that may assist in alleviating your temporary emergency.

  1. The Bridges program requires a permanent source of income. We ask that you provide information of your household income (including employment and all public or private support payments. i.e. SSI, Disability, unemployment, child support, employment pay stub, workman’s comp.). Your monthly income must be greater than your monthly bills.
  2. We ask that you provide Photo-ID to verify your identity and local residency.
  3. Appointments are available.
